In today’s post we’ll take a look at the popular product, Amino Prime.
This has been some of the real talk around my gyms. Why? Because it’s supposed to help enhance your muscle growth. Of course we’re always skeptical because we’ve reviewed a lot of health products that don’t work. You can see our products to stay away from here.
Regardless, we’ll continue to try anything people are talking about in order to keep our knowledge up. Don’t want to look like a noob when someone asks me about it…amirite?
Ok…let’s get to it and find out if this thing works or not…
What Problems Is it Supposed to Solve?
- People undergoing intense workouts but not seeing results.
- People who don’t see results from protein.
- People looking to increase muscular mass and strength.
- People who want to recovery from workouts more quickly.
- People looking to reduce their fat mass.
- People looking to increase endurance.
Alleged Product Benefits
So it’s supposed to solve those problems above by…
Convert Dietary Protein into Muscle – This is the main thing..This is supposed to result in more muscle gains, quicker recovery etc…all of the problems I listed above.
Increasing your NO2 Levels – NO2 is nitric oxide. In theory, by increasing nitric oxide you would reduce your recovery time and gain muscle mass.
Boosting testosterone levels – Everyone knows testosterone right? Of course this is a great way to boost your muscle mass. This increases HGH production, which in turn would help you gain muscle easier.
Our Review & Experience
Amino Prime – Is There a Science Behind It?
The first thing I look for is whether anything they have is backed up by that thing called science. Basically the big deal with this product is that all of the protein you eat will be converted into amino acids in turn you gain muscle. So is this actually better for you? There’s a lot of debate in regards to if this is actually the key…No one truly knows..
..But by theory it makes sense – you can read about amino acids & proteins here if you’re a science guy…
What Happened When We Took It
Here are some questions we documented with both our answers.
1) Did it help us recover quickly?
Me: Yes….I saw a quicker recovery than just my normal routine with limited supplements.
Nick: Yes. Lifted very heavy like 3 days into taking it to see if it worked. It did.
2) Did we gain muscle mass?
Me: Maybe? Who knows? We’re working out…Not gonna come in here and show you my results and claim it’s the pill when that’s really only 10% of the battle…if that.
Nick: Yes. Or at least I think it did. Of course I gained muscle while taking it. I credit it a lot of it to my routine and lifting hard.
3) Did we have increased endurance while lifting?
Me: I definitely did. I lift for fit, not super muscle mass. So many of my routines are quick and high reps. I found I wasn’t getting as tired
Nick: I lift heavy and I was able to pound out a few extra reps. So yes, I felt like it did do something a little.
Overall we both were pleasantly surprised it actually did something. We were really expecting it not to do a thing. But it actually helped with recovery and endurance in the gym.
Luckily we were able to get ours through a free trial, so it didn’t cost us a thing. If you want to do the same, click through here.
